Introduction
The Bhagirath Agriculture Research Centre (BARC) in Joint Venture with Institute of Rural Management Anand & Anand Agriculture University, Anand Gujarat India. BARC established at Ahmedabad in the year 2020 with the objectives to breed and develop high yielding, disease and pest resistant and better quality varieties of different Oil Palm Plantation and Oilseed crops like groundnut, castor, sesame, sunflower, soybean and mustard. Our main research works includes areas like:
- Plant Breeding‟s & Genetics – Crop Improvement
- Agronomy – Crop Production
- Plant Protection – Agriculture Entomology & Plant Pathology
- Plant Physiology
In addition to these, the BARC is also work as a testing centre for varieties of Oil Seed and Oil Palm Fresh Fruits.
